Thank you all, I wouldnt have known where to start or even met my dandy without all of you
I am going to rewire all the 12v electrics tomorrow as they currently run off battery and not the hookup.
My towbar gets fitted on Tuesday then I am free

Re: My New Dandy - First Time Setup
On your achievement of putting it up for the first time.
Are your walls insulated? Are they padded like the roof? The reason I ask is the front ones are brown and white on the outside, and the back ones on the inside are all brown. I have seen two Dandys before which are insulated with brown insides.

I think my seeing of two Dandys with brown insulated walls remains at two.
I like this one, I think we had a guided tour of it when we were weighing up the pros and cons of buying a Dandy.

It is and it is a great dandy, could do with a very classy, free brown matching font forum sticker to make it complete though

Though beginning in D the Daisy is not an official Dandy name.
So is Daisy the 6 and your looking for an additional or canvas awning?
Or is it for the 4/5 I can't remember your awning situation with this?

Re: My New Dandy - First Time Setup
As always the extra bit makes all the difference.
Official name such as; Dash, Dart, Delta, Designer, Discovery, Dimension and Destiny. Oh or Regency.
Wouldn't it have to be a yellow one with a white roof for a Daisy?

great work
I also put my dandy up for the first time last weekend and was real proud of myself , the only bummer for me is that my g/f has told that there is more chance of Jesus coming back to earth than her getting in that thing, as she calls it, im not complaining as it cost me nothing and as many people have said to that a second class sleep in a dandy is better than a cold wet sleep in a tent

What is even better is the dandy wont need drying, just be careful if you pack up in the rain a pool often forms on the roof and it never runs off and hits the lady is always the man

Re: My New Dandy - First Time Setup
Mark would agree with you so far, we haven't had much experience of erecting but, each time it has rained, it has dumped onto Mark when it came to putting awaymike wrote:ShaunJUK wrote:I am now able to confirm that my dandy is 100% waterproof, no leaks anywhere
