Not being a regular user of either this is a bit foreign to me(Sic) but this may reduce the cost of a jaunt abroad.

£10 worth of clubcard points equals £30 off in DFDS vouchers.

Clubcard can also be used on Eurotunnel, Stena North sea and Irish sea routes, and Irish Ferries.

Mrs P. is an expert on the collection and appropriate use of Clubcard points and various newspaper offers that seem to provide us with ridiculously cheap overseas holidays. She has just this evening finalised the booking for a week in Holland in October that is costing the princely sum of £74 for transport and accommodation. In fact, once we've stocked up on local food and drink (mainly the latter), I think we actually make a profit from the trips  Very Happy

T'h missus would be very welcome to run a thread on this subject by me certainly but I suspect by several others also.

I'm told that there are too many variants to do a 'one size fits all summary' but there is a 'Paid To Shop' forum that covers the best ways to boost your Clubcard points balance, and the best ways to spend them (lots of travel options as mentioned).

There are holiday options to be booked on Clubcard but options have become more limited recently and a better bet are the ones promoted by The Sun newspaper. You don't need to buy the paper as the offer codes are posted online (Money Saving Expert is the forum for this one) and the last code usually 'leaks' before the paper is published so you can get in early and look for availability. They are all static 'mobile home' holidays but there is a great range of parks and facilities - many close to major cities and good transport links.

We've had numerous short breaks in the UK, three holidays in France, and three in Holland using them all of which have been problem free.

Happy to help with any other questions
