Hi all, The time has come to part with our Dandy 4/5 trailer tent, it is an 1980's model (not sure of year) with some small not insurmountable issues (hence the price) but still has plenty of life left in it. This is a 4-5 berth unit with hookup & leisure battery & charger (battery may not be the best but still works). It has a light fitted in the main tent with extra light to plug in & hang in the main tent &/or awning. Mains sockets via hookup rig & 12v sockets around the tent. Water pump may need a service, couldn't get it working recently but didn't have time to do much. Comes with water & waste bottles as well as various other bits & pieces (midge coils, matches, food covers, some plates etc & other bits left by previous owner).
Also has a canvas awning which I believe is original & still waterproof & in quite good condition.
All in all the whole setup is in pretty good order given it's age & that it has lived outside for a number of years.
Now for the not so goods:
Awning poles are creative but functional, a combination of original, modified & plastic tubing (never quite worked out the colour coding the previous owner had set up but always been able to assemble a working scenario which has handles a good variety of weathers)
Rear fog light lens needs replaced, might just pop a new light on before it goes.
Had a little visitor who has munched a bit of one of the smaller cushions but not too badly and it was on the back of it, also had the occasional nibble on the old curtains which we were intending to remove anyway - so they are gone but all the tracks are still in place.
The gas heater in the floor we have never used so would advise it be tested before using, probably worth servicing all the gas kit anyway but cooker & grill work fine. Also comes with 2 gas bottles in the carrier (not sure what the gas levels are like), has a split feeding system to allow changeover whilst in use - not sure if that is standard or even safe but it's there!
Tows well no issues on that side of things but again a service before next year is probably a good idea.
Any questions please do ask.
