    plan was hatched even though we didn't take a Dandy ( good job or I would have joined the carnival Tour De France - Page 3 3462454224 ) my sister said she would stay at mine and son happy to stay at home so off we went sat at 10am and arrived at Dover at 5.30 and found the hostel we were booked in at bags placed out for food wondered around getting lost asked 3 lady's where we could eat  " oh yea burger and a beer  turn right and there weatherspoons " off we went and I had the burger and a beer well beer shandy enjoyed the food but nearly threw up when I saw what was at the bottom of my glass Tour De France - Page 3 9639063 and Id be drinking that not happy at the least so time to leave when a fight broke out in front one man against the staff Tour De France - Page 3 2197500976 not safe to leave.. while the other customers went to help out( bit like a spaghetti western) then  a lull in the riot we promptly left  rushed back to the hostel Tour De France - Page 3 2197500976 not safe out there Tour De France - Page 3 3462454224 Tour De France - Page 3 3462454224 Tour De France - Page 3 3462454224 
    up and out 6am to catch the ferry ( yep still hate boats )

    arrived at Dunkirk 11am their time then the drive to Paris  4pm  hot but pleasant   journey straight roads parked up outside (St Denis) Paris and took the metro train to Champs Elysee affraid hot 38 degrees in the shade that does not include the body heat of every one else[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

    we are very envious of your trip,we were staying nr the Mont St Michel stage just 3 days before it came through:cry:,so next year we are going to at least watch the uk stages of the tour and also the beginning of the Giro in Belfast.

    I always thought The Giro was in Bootle?

    Explanation of the Bootle Giro comment.

    When this country owned things (this has changed) and the banks didn't care about ordinary people (this has not) a revolutionary business was devised to shake up banking. The first large business to be designed from it's inception to require computer processing.
