What a brilliant idea. Not really enough room in a VW van but they are fantastically popular.
Give the owners some thing they would want to tow in combination.
Having a vague idea of the prices of Bays let alone splits I thought the prices were reasonable and they weren't attempting to milk the target market.
Then I became all old and started to nit pick.
Lowered VW and van. That's going to go over speed bumps so well
MTPLM 750Kg oh so they have put it on an unbraked chassis. Hang on it's braked why not stick it on 1,000Kg running gear and give it a useful carrying weight or why the complexity of brakes?
Not knowing what the GVW of a bay or split is I guess the problem relates to Maximum train weight or the MTPLM and the kerb weight of a VW Van? All this relating to post 97 licence holders. At first thought I can't see the issue if the weights are in the ball park of what I think they'd be? Wondering what sort of sad stupid vehicles the makers are expecting to tow this?
Eilise, as they have won this award if the makers or the award has a link to the article please post I'm very interested.
