don't really have a sweet tooth so rarely have pudding

if i do i go for the traditional puddings like bramble and apple crumble or treacle pudding

and i agree with mike about bread and butter pudding affraid

Reading Helen's and Essie's posts. There is a faux Tiramisu made up from double chocolate chip cookies dipped in a mixture of coffee and sherry then sandwiched with a whisked thick double cream. Unfortunately can't find instructions on google but the dipping solution is just very strong coffee (Sweetened?)with a good quality cream sherry (Tried it once with a cooking quality sherry, only the once yuk) then sandwiching the cookies in cream and covering the surface with more cream.

The first time I tried my pudding, Mark didn't have sherry so used Whisky instead. He won't do that again

Since this thread started I've been eating blueberry muffins, not everyday but I am kinda liking them a lot Very Happy

I don't need a shovel to dig a big hole with, just to eat my pudding with lol!

I worked in a small bakery years ago and still enjoy the smell of baking bread but my thing back then was the big pink fresh cream meringues we used to make, we only did so many a day and I had a couple of them daily for the first month or so that I worked there I then moved on to the Iced fingers ........... you can have too much of a good thing though because I stopped after a while and rarely touch either of them now.

Parkin ......... oh I do like parkin especially home made stuff. favourite puddings 184121345
