Re: weather, where you are
Thank goodness this is from the Daily Express, so far since September they have forecast 85mph gales and freezing temps neither of which happened (not when they said it would anyway) so let's hope they're wrong again this time.

Re: weather, where you are
Cold - Wet - Windy.
The tree's on our street look lovely for a short time in Autumn as the leaves change colour ..... then they all end up in my garden. They seem to blow directly on my drive while on one side my neighbours remains tidy, on the other side he has a gardener who comes along with a big leaf blower to get them out but they all blow over the wall into mine! If you don't pick them up and they get soggy you get an oily residue that stains the flags.

Re: weather, where you are
We were going to Dandy this weekend but the forecast is terrible with strong winds and gusts up to 85mph with torrential rain too so perhaps it would be wiser to keep the Dandy wrapped up and try again in a couple of weeks.
Not sure what to believe though as it's currently sunny and lovely and still ....... perhaps the calm before the storm.

Re: weather, where you are
I think we may be a little apprehensive due to our summer camping disasters with flooding, the Dandy survived by the skin of it's teeth on one occasion and the van .... well that's another story that's going to cost.

can't say i blame you. The forecasters get it wrong so often and with the wind the way it was yesterday i certainly wouldn't risk it either

Re: weather, where you are
Provisional figures so far for 2012 show that it's been the wettest year in England since records began in 1910. Well over a metre of rain has fallen this year, beating the previous record in 2000; and it's still raining....
Looked at one of those long term forecast sites and they say there is a 50% chance the second half of next year will be great, think about that it doesn't sound good

Re: weather, where you are
Wet and windy here again too, it's not even light.
Wet weather has affected lots of campsites this year ..... I wonder how they've coped with lack of business, they must have suffered.

Re: weather, where you are
I cant help but see dandy's get more popular, the trend is for more rain all the time even if we get a good year i think the pattern is set for most years to be wetter.
