I've put some 3D pics on my computer and have tried to upload some but it isn't having the file type. Do I have to upload them somewhere else, I've tried but only seem to be able to upload the 2D versions of the pictures. Rolling Eyes

Unless your at a port in which case it depends whether your entering or leaving.
There is probably a good mnumonic for explaining that.

Funny you should say cross eyed thats one way to view stereo.

If any one wants to give it a try its dead easy and no money to spend apart from a couple of pound on the glasses from ebay.

With your normal camera take a picture then move the camera to the right a few inches and take a second picture, download this free program

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

With the program open select load left/right images the left is first and its the first picture you took so load that, the loading box will look as though it hasn't changed but if you look at the top it now says load right image which you then do.Once the pictures are side by side in the program run your cursor across the symbols at the top until it hits the one that shows make colour anaglyph click that and you have your 3D picture.

All right there is a lot more you can do if you want but the basics are easy and cheap.

I did get one picture in the end that I think looks okay in 3D, we are enjoying finding out what works and what doesn't. Out of 10 pictures we manage 1 reasonable one, out of every 20 we may get one good one at the moment but we are hoping to improve as we go along ..... it is fun learning though and lots would be much better if I managed to keep my fingers out of the picture What a Face I am finding though that they look great on my laptop but when I upload to different sites the results can be a little different with ghosting.

I'll take the rubbish ones out of the album as I go along and improve.

It takes me a minute to let my eye's adjust before they come into full focus Shocked maybe I should try wearing my normal glasses under the coloured ones Smile
