How long should the cords be for pulling up the roof bars when erecting the camper? Billy.

We just stood the u bar upright and put new string on then took it it to the button under the Dandy bed tying a loop at that end.

How long is a piece of string? Quick question 3462454224 Quick question 3462454224

Seriously though, as Helen says put the bars in the upright position, ensuring there is enough clearance for the door/kitchen walls to fold, and tie off. Smile

Depends on if the Dandy is up or not.
If up as said above.
If not up just make the strings far too long and tie up with a figure of eight on the buttons or figure of eight cleat if your Dandy is a very old brown one. Once erected tie off loops as required.

This technique is shown on the Riva video for tying off the roof cords but you still see all sorts of strange knots used.
