fridge for dandy dart or delta

I am going to purchase a trailer tent to go on hols to france,i am interested in the dandy dart or delta as they are compact and light to tow,the only thing is they do not have a fridge so would there be to fit one somewhere,or can you get portable fridge,advice welcome.

Hi and welcome to the Dandy Campers

If you click on search then type fridge into the box it should come up with a few threads relating to table top fridges, 3 way fridges and also cool box's. I'm not sure how big you want your fridge to be so couldn't say if you would find room inside the dandy to fit one but we use our 3 way fridge in the awning ...... ours is really big though. Great if your going to be needing space for French wine

Unfortunatley yes we do as it is probably one of the largest but that's not always a bad thing as we plug it in at home before we leave and then plug it in while we're driving and everything is cold when we arrive. We also have cool drinks on tap whilst travelling.

Thanks helen,now i am thinking what about the porta loo where is that going,my wife is asking me,we just need a few tips before we take the plunge into dandy camping

Hi Joe, to Dandycampers. We love camping in the Dandy, so much so our campervan is now a day bus.

Our fridge travels in the van, ideal for keeping the lunch away from the dog.

Our portaloo either travels in the van when we take our brown Dandy, and it travels in the green classic Dandy as OH doesn't want it in his classic car - not sure why.

This is where our loo lives when we have the awning on [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

and when we pack away it stays inside the Dandy, split in two and put in bags under the table

When we haven't got the awning on we use a utility tent and the loo lives in there.

If we don't take the utility tent it lives at the right hand side of the door with a cover over it during the day

thanks for tips,i like the splitting of porta loo and storing in camper,we have just got to get a nice dandy camper,trouble is we live on the dark side of the moon,"nottingham" they are all miles away from us as i would like to sit in one and see where the 42 inch tv fits ha ha

You're very welcome to come and view ours, we're just round the corner from the dark side of the moon in Burton.

Regards the TV, we thought of using a projector on the side of the roof.
