It's so difficult to get through to an actual person on the telephone these days, it's a minefield of questions asked by an automated service and if you press the wrong button you have to start all over again Evil or Very Mad

On another note and probably because I've had a frustrating morning ...... we have a huge mirror directly opposite the lounge window, we put it there because it reflects the light and makes the room feel bigger. For the past few weeks a young lady has stared in while looking at herself in the mirror ... twice per day without fail. I know it may sound a bit silly but it's getting on my nerves, she actually stopped this morning took a brush out of her bag and brushed her hair in my mirror while we were sat here ...... we have a large tree outside our house so would rather not use nets or blinds because light is already restricted.

SOoooo, I got John to stick a large message on the mirror before he went to work that reads

    You Look Lovely

    As Always

    Please Use

    Your Own Mirror

Not a happy bunny Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad (and that's putting it mildly), apparently our gas boiler fitter hasn't done half of what he he said he was going to do re the lead piping in the bathroom and apparently what he told us about the pressure only applies to the central heating system not the hot water! So if he had bothered to reconnect the hot water back up we could have left the bathroom for now and had our new kitchen first as per our original plan.

Sad Sad Sad  the reason I have been off line for so long is the fact my laptop crashed big time everything I had gone affraid I tried to get it back but made things worse ended up going to a PC repair shop and now love that man as the lesson learnt is backup everything I had just uploaded all photos on the laptop and sorted out all my downloads into files and when loading the photos the question came up do you want to clear photos off the SD card so I ticked the box to agree as repeating photos was taking up so much space then the worst happened all gone Sad  cry! well I think Noah would not have been to build a big enough Ark to cope with the floods of tears pale but not wanting to complain as I have all my photos back but my keyboard is different just subtle but it has moved to American board

We were hoping to get away for a weekend or two next month. But some idiot woman slammed into the side of our new car on Friday trying to overtake 2 cars that were turning right (one of which was ours). Consequently we are going to be without it for the next few weeks (assuming its not written off) so that's probably going to be it now for this year.

Sorry to hear that Admiral. Are you able to get a replacement car through the insurance. Your insurer may be able to arrange it.

We will get a courtesy car (hopefully today) as my husband is a community nurse and can't do his job without one. He was actually on a visit when the accident happened. Thankfully he wasn't badly hurt, but he is aching from top to toe and the side of his face is swollen where it was hit by the air bag.
We're really angry about it as the car is only 18 months old and we've only had it 5 weeks. We're hoping they don't write it off as getting another as good as that will be fairly remote as it was just perfect and had everything we wanted.

Aawwww Jayne, I know how much the pair of you loved the car ..... hope Nigel feels better soon and that the car can be repaired. By coincidence my pop had an accident on Friday too, some silly woman decided she was in the wrong lane and attempted to get over at the last minute, my uncle also  had an accident and was badly injured and has developed a fear of driving ....... he was in the passenger seat as pops was taking him to the hospital What a Face Luckily no one was hurt and the car isn't too badly damaged.

The garage lied, we still haven't got the car back it will now be 31st at the earliest. To make matters worse someone slashed two of the tyres and badly scratched the courtesy car overnight so now we have to make a claim to get that repaired and be given another one!
