Hi Has anyone on the forum used one of these in a Dandy Awning?
Or would it be better to get a smaller unit, its a good price.
Would buy it but just worried about the size.
Thanks in advance. Pete. Very Happy

That looks well good if its as sturdy as it looks, that would be well useful in an awning,it looks lighter than our metal camp kitchen that is sturdy great for small stove cooking in awning,I think size is ok should store under seats of dandy Smile

I have something similar but use it for kitchen stuff cos of condensation in the awning. I use the storage inside for clothes and hang certain things on a roof bar. Having said that, I only take clothes for slobbing about in. It's my holiday Embarassed Shocked

Google images not coming good on this but I was thinking of:

You can get ones you can hang clothes in as well. Also less likely to crease at the price.

Rather than loop tops hanger type ones exist. Though I'd find an additional and stronger pole to hang over if the other half's wardrobe is considerable.

I have no need for such things being the scruffy git that I am. Shirts by Axminister trousers by Wilton.

I do have a wardrobe but it's a single one and fits in my awning lovely, my daughter had that double size one with folding frame and it was okay for putting all the kids things in but took up lots of space and was bulky to carry too. It was sturdy though.

On mine the bars all come apart and it fits nicely into it's small bag. Mine doesn't seem as sturdy but we've never had a problem and put our heavier stuff on the bottom shelf to help stabilise it

We also have one of these [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

I love my wardrobe and use it for anything more than 2 nights but if it's only a short break we find the Coleman one above works well enough for clothes that can be folded and also our towels. Very Happy Not shown in the picture but the front rolls down and can be zipped. no faffing around with it either, take it out of the bag and hang it up Wink

This is similar to ours .... pain in the backside to put together but worth it for ease of carrying.
