My names Darren. We've never had a trailer tent before, or towed but recently our Camper, a Mazda Bongo, decided to die on us. We've always liked typical camping, but got used to the Bongo and being able to sleep inside, and in a bit more comfort, which got us thinking about trailer tents.
It then didn't help that while looking at a camping / caravan shop for tents, as we're going away later in the year, that we were drawn to the smaller trailer tents.
A bit more researching online bought up the Dandys, which we quite like the sound of.
We're not looking for something huge - a 4 berth would be fine ( me, the wife and 2 boys who wouldn't mind sharing ) and something that packs down in to a fairly small space, making it easy to store. Don't mind it being an older model, aslong as it's in good condition, and dry And if we can spend less than a £1000 that would be even better.
We're between Peterborough and Huntingdon, so if there happens to be anyone in the local area that wouldn't mind showing some newbies the ins and outs of a Dandy Camper, that would be very helpful, and help us know what to look out for if we do decide to go down this route.
