yes there is a lot but it covers most options that people have thought of.
Electrics. It all depends on what you have. Most older Dandys' electrics have been wired by previous owners. The standard is variable. The 240V wiring on factory wired Dandys tend to be OK but the 12V wiring is not great and we have not found any to standard. (Just to confuse there was more than 12S plug wiring standard)
Who can inspect it for you. A caravan sales establishment with a workshop could. it could also inspect your gas and service the trailer. The electric and gas checks are part of a Habitation Check. Though what the qualifications of the service section to do these tests are???? Also it wont be cheap.
To confuse things. Caravans are included in the 16th and 17th editions of the electrical wiring regs tents are not. Trailer tents and folding campers are a hinterland. Your wiring could not be up to spec but not necessarily unsafe though we would recommend wiring to regs.
A tame electrician who you know might be OK but unsure of conditions as it is a special installation. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

became our collected thoughts on 12V electrics.
If all you have is a consumer unit and two or three double sockets all is easy to check through it gets more complex if you have a 12V system as well and you would have to ask your tame sparky if he did much with 12V.
Don't be tempted to ignore the 12V side thinking it's only 12V. 12V is really good at causing fires.
Devon???? Don't know how far navver goes into Devon to see his son you might offer to cross his palm with silver or throw beer at him. This is his sort of stuff.
The hook up cable should 16amp cable with "Commando" connectors of 25 metres length and have wire of a 2.5 mm2
