Hi,... New Dandy 5 owner

Just saying hello for the first time ....having bought a Dandy 5 1980s camper needing a bit of tlc (not me ...the camper!)
managed to figure out how to put the thing up after repairing the side board hinges! anyway it came with an awning and looks quite neglected... so I had a full day today repairing bits and bobs  
hoping to find some ideas and tips on here...i'll keep you posted with my progress

Enjoy your tinkering, i think part of the appeal the older dandys is the need for tlc, and their character.

There is a huge wealth of knowledge on here, many hours of reading and everyone is soo friendly you feel like part of the family very soon.

cant wait to see photo's don't forget if the windows are milky looking they will clear all by them selves as air circulates and also after giving the pvc a clean polish it with any silicone based polish as it stays cleaner longer and easier to clean the bugs next time
