Has anyone got any tips for getting rid.
I tried the jar with jam and water in, and they were going in and drowning but it only attracted more.
I was told at this time of the year they get drunk by feeding off the fruit and berries. Pete.

That sounds like an excellent tip man_tuesday - I'll pack some Vicks in the 'odds & sods' box as we call it.man_tuesday wrote:Rub Vicks menthol rub onto the areas where they are coming in. I work in pest control and use it on roof spaces. Try not to kill wasps early in the year though as they do a lot of good. This time of year they are old and sleepy and liable to sting.

don't kill bees or wasps because they release a pheromone that tells the others that there's danger and they swarm to its defense I place a bit of old banana away from my area and they hunt that
