Just a quick welcome from me.

I have just purchased my first Dandy trailer tent.

Here is a piccy, though I will be restoring it.
It there a specific area on here for renovations, so I can post progress reports?

Hi Dudleston and welcome to the forum.

I'm very interested in seeing more of your renovation project. I'd love to do something similar with an old green one myself.

The [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] section is probably the most appropriate area.

I would have said you won't be able to post pictures for a while as there used to be a restriction for new members, but that is clearly not true in your case  Laughing

We have a sticky on Technical and Servicing showing Phoenix's rebuild. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Start a new rebuild thread for yourself if you would.
Any details we can help you with and we would be more than pleased.
If the ply round the tub needs replacing the original substance was phenolic ply. We have found suppliers of this but I've just done a search on "phenolic ply" and "plywood" and not found the suitable threads.
Do say if you wan't more info and I'll do a proper search. The stuff is amazingly resilient and while it is expensive if you factor in the costs of good wood treatment products on normal ply there isn't a massive difference in price.
