South of France

In our 1988 Dandy 4/5 in Heureuse Valley ( Happy Valley) Camping near Avignon. A few stares from the other campers. Have they never seen such a marvellous set-up before? Also voiced their concern that we'd not survive the huge storm last night. Built to last and for British weather! Snug (smug) and dry this morning.
Anyone else in South Mediterranean?

Ages since we heard from you. How long are you away for what have been your experiences in France, etc?
I expect further north in France they would have seen Dandys as The Netherlands was the major export location for Dandys. Mind you half the UK seem to never have seen Dandys.

Last year our Dandy got as far as the Appenines in Italy. Great in hot weather. The tarp (lashed over the roof) just adds sun shade as no need to bring the awning.
