Been noticeable by my absence.
Mobile interweb been a bit problematic. Using Mikes dongle at the moment. Thanks Mike.
I don't believe anyone identified the the strange plastic metal combo bowl I inherited.
As I have phone interweb interface issues I don't have a great number of photos to illustrate our activity on site over the last few days.
If I did have photos that would end up embarrassing as there would be a ream of poses showing me being carried through practical pieces by Mike and Phoenix. Brought vice and mole grips but still couldn't form suitable bed brackets, Phoenix produced them with a set of plumbers grips in about 15 Min's!
Mike spoon fed the fitting of said brackets. With the coup de grace being a Mike and Nancy double act with underfloor heater lighting 101.
Fearful of further displays of incompetence I made an appearance of nonchalantly sauntering into town. Only me knowing the true depth of the feeling of hurt and inadequacy.
Helen sorry not to see you and John. At least with you present I could have taken greater succour in strong drink. Or have you been badly misrepresented?
Eilis; hopefully the photo Mike posted of me wasn't scary enough to keep you away?
More camping in 3 weeks time.
All the best for all of you in 2012.
This is the second attempt to send this the dongle did not want to upload earlier.
Mike makes remark in the bed bracket post that my Dandy will now be much safer. Hope he's not alluding to the supported weight?
Fire extinguishers 3Kg one in the Dandy and 2x1Kg ones (at least) in the boot that's never cleared out.
If I search deep enough there may be BA in there as well!

Kevin.

We have also been blown home safely, the side winds make driving Molly very exciting. Shocked

Thanks for a great time, it was fab to meet everyone. There will be snow at next years bbq, lol!

Kevin and the heating, no wonder Mike was moving down the field when we left. affraid

Would Phoenix rise from that fire if still there? What a Face

And lastly, that 3rd photo and the secret use, guess what? lol!

Our old dog loved camping Cazz, he was 17 the last time he went and I wish we had thought of taking something like that for him especially with having Bailey wanting to rush along and Beaux wanting to take his time.

It's an actual dog one made by pet gear, it has proved very useful especially at car shows etc. It also has a fitted rain cover.

Our 'pet stroller' will carry 20kg, there is/was also a bigger one available as well as double ones for smaller dogs.

Everyone was laughing at our dog today, he couldn't get into Molly at all, poor lad.

aw bless him, our jackson is 57kg and not infirm in anyway yet as he's around 6 or 7 but not too sure exactly as he was a rescue he is a mastiff/ridgeback cross so has lots of mastiff traits like sleeping 23 and a half hours a day and being very lazy when the mood takes him lol!
however when he gets too old to do things like jump in the car/on the bed, on my knee (which he does like he's a tiny puppy) etc god knows how much it will cost to dog mobility him up the boot ramps i have seen are about £80 and that was a few years ago!!!

Ours couldn't get into our Dandy Cazz and waited for a lift but he mysteriously managed it a few times if we were sat inside at the table eating breakfast lol!

You could always borrow a fork lift or pallet truck vicki Christmas break Chat - Page 13 2024858757

Ours is the same, he has a step now, he managed to get into Mike and Nancy's Dandy without a problem and take potatoe peelings out of the rubbish bag and leave them on their floor. lol!

Dog mobility items and medicines are definatly a burden on the bank account. At 57kg, I see the problem with picking him up.

Thanks folks, have arrived safely home through some realy bad rain, although it had stopped when we where packing away,we offered several times to help Kevin but he kept saying it was ok,just had a text from him he is staying a extra night. The traffic was so bad down our road i had no chance to reverse it in so i used the hand winch for the first time it worked great

On a serious note, I hope he manages ok, or another person on the site will help if he needs it.
