Kevin's 2017 listing of events no one will be interested in
Late to report the 1st option and it's not that cheap except I do know of some excellent free camping not too far off.

I'm not camping but I might take a run down to catch "Nearly Dan" on the Monday. Trying to cover Steely Dan is either going to be brilliant or very, very not.
At least better than the bit I've heard of Seattle (Washington) based Nearly Dan.

23rd to the 25th of June I will be there early and leaving late camping with a group of friends.
This is the first year that I've been able to go in a good while as it usually clashes with the FOS. Some of you longer standing readers will have seen me mention Dent before those who haven't That wonderful tool the "Search" option brings up the following in connection with Dent. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
If anyone I know is interested but doesn't want to pack out the Dandy for just themselves or self and mate send me a PM there is every chance we will have some spare accommodation.
Much Later as in November and possibly not Dandying!!!
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Hard Rock Hell and many more.
Only just aware of this go to the [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and be truly stupefied at the amount of money asked for accom and ticket packages to watch a set of coffin dodgers a quarter of whom will have carked it by the time the event comes round. Truly a new sweepstake game to be played and a different meaning to lineup to be confirmed.
Got invited to the prog fest a few weeks ago and only paid £10.00 for my ticket. How come? After each weekend the next weekend of that type is announced and you are invited to enter a competition for a number of free passes. You don't win, OK someone wins but it might well not be you. One is then invited to buy up to 6 tickets for just the admin fee of £10.00 per ticket. This is all I know so far. Yes I realise that some of the events don't follow the same format and take place in hotels but I know not about these. Yet.
Missed the important bit I have access to a few of the £10.00 tickets.
