When I met everyone else it was odd because although we hadn't met we already knew each other and it felt very comfortable, with Vicki it wasn't like the first meeting just like meeting up with an old friend and I am sure it will be the same with you Jayne we have been chatting now for a very long time. Very Happy

That's if Vicki thinks its a good idea

Trying to get to asda at the right time, they have some gazebos with mesh sides and the frame is the fibre glass poles you get on tents, they would keep the insects off us,at the moment they are £30 but trying to catch them when they go on roll back.

I think it would do for now and the price isn't too hefty or the size and weight and think I will buy one. I can then bring it along in September.

    Hi Helen,

I bought a pop up gazebo with sides a good few years ago from aldi for £40, which i would recommend as they are so easy to put up.

I don't know if aldi are doing them any more but my friend bought one recently for £40 from wilkinsons, it had no sides but argos had the sides on offer for £15, so she got them to go with it, so in total cost £55.

I don't know how easy the day tent is to put up, but with you having the back problems i can recommend the pop up gazebo as they are really easy and quick to do.

You just open the gazebo out and push the roof up at each corner till it clicks into a button then you pull the legs down to the height you want and that clicks with a button and it's done.

    lol!

It's usually John that puts stuff up with a little direction and I would think others would help him as it would probably be used only at meets, the only problem with a gazebo is that some sites don't let you use them, its usually the flimsy ones that blow away but they don't differentiate. I also have to consider weight and size due to my already overstuffed bulging dandy and car Trentfield Farm - Page 3 3208163979
