Picture practise. Empty Picture practise.

I seem to be having trouble getting pictures the right size without using photobucket to resize, so I'm having a practise.

Please feel free to delete these posts if they are wasting space. Right that is from photobucket sorted without phaffing resizing there.

Why does the resize for 'forums' cut the edge off, but the one for 'websites' doesn't?

Now can they resized from my desktop without using photobucket?

Neil, hammer not needed:-

1) Click on the icon that looks like a picture with a floppy disk in front of it.

2) Browse for your image from your computer, click the down arrow and select '640 for websites'

3) Click 'host it' wait a while.

4) You now have 3 options, highlight the middle one, copy, then paste into your post.

5) And?

Or to get the image from photobucket, I did this:-

1) Click 'host an image', the picture with floppy disk.

2) In photobucket, click on 'direct link' to copy.

3) Return to forum, Click url, paste photobucket direct link.

4) Click resize, select 640 px (for websites).

5) Click Host it.

6) Copy middle one.

7) Paste into post.

This may be a complicated way, but after hours of trying to get the right size, it is what worked for me. Rolling Eyes

Where is the picture from?
I can see it's a Royal Saudi Air Force Lightning, not one of the ones from Bruntingthorpe.
I can thoroughly recommend the fast taxi runs at Bruntingthorpe.
Lightnings in taxi runs on reheat, as per takeoff.
I didn't know anything could be that loud.
It's like the noise and vibration is happening inside you.
Still the fastest plane operated by the RAF including the Typhoon (Eurofighter)

I don't have photoshop. scratch

I don't know how it's done, but on Club 8090 you copy the IMG code in photobucket, then paste it into your relpy and it automatically rezises it.

Anyway I've sorted out what I'm doing, until I forget next time. lol!
