Don't you just love Aldi bargains! Empty Don't you just love Aldi bargains!

Had a trip to Aldi at Dumfries yesterday. They were selling angling gear, a lot of which was clothing. Among these items were baseball type caps, in olive green or cmouflage, with five LED lights set into the front of the nib and a press switch also in the nib. Powered by two small 'penny' batteries. Cost - £3.99 Tried them out and they're brilliant! Finished up buying 10. (Guess what our lot are getting in their Xmas boxes this year!) They might be a bit of a novelty item but we tried two of them out last night, taking the dogs out after dark and found they gave a good light, over a good area, without dazzling. No more need for torches and no need to buy head torches, for those nocturnal activities that need two hands. You just can't beat Aldi Price, chi-chi chink.

that sounds good, those head torches are alright if you are wearing it but walking along one night with someone wearing one was making me feel sick as the light flitted everywhere they were looking pale

wasn't nice at all
