Sorry about the picture, you'll just have to lie down to look at it Rolling Eyes
I have a dead caravan by the side of my house, makes a good shed, which had a perfectly good Electrolux 212b 3 way fridge. Now as I'm sure you all know 3 way fridges are not cheap so Idea . After testing the basic operation on 230vac I decided to go for gas. I got a pipe cutter for 1/4 pipe (£3 from a market stall) a hose connector complete with nut and olive for £5 from a caravan shop and set to work. I fitted a cover over the top(IKEA 2nds laminate shelf, 2 for £2 the other is on the cooker) to hide the wires and pipes and also to act as carrying handles, connected to a gas bottle tested for leaks and then switched on. It lit with a nice blue flame and has been running all day with the tent closed, one vent open at the top and a CO alarm inside. No alarms and the ice box has frozen my pink elephants affraid

The Porta Potti is also ex shed.

So all set for non EHU Camping without EHU - Page 2 1208560806

Very clever Jake. That utility tent will be handy for drying damp towels, it's surprising how much heat the fridge flue puts out. Very Happy

PS, I layed down to look, but it was upside down - so I had to lay the other way. Rolling Eyes

Excellent Jake, at least now you can use it when you Dandy and it's cost hardly anything too. Cold drinks and a loo Camping without EHU - Page 2 2792229418

Jake hope things are not too bad.
I've normally been in a pretty desperate state when I've had to refrigerate the toilet rolls.

When camping, we keep our toilet rolls in a small cool box. Shocked Well it stops the dog eating them. lol! Unfortunately, last year, he learnt how to open it. What a Face Camping without EHU - Page 2 143088812

But we are geting a 8o w or 100 w Solar panel kit, and are going to run a 2 way fridge 12v// 240v off 88 ah batery and solar kit.
And when on EHU then run fridge off that.

Yes Mike I will try to give a detailed vew of the set up, but maybe after giveing it good test on a rally, but i will also try to do pics of the stages, from fiting the 12v system to adding the solar kit.

I will not be doing totaly as the guy in the video has done, and i am still doing some more resurch, funny the videos on yoiutube ref solar camping, most of them are australian, as you know they get more sun lol, so i will have to work out fig for uk weather, pos looking into biger solar panels or 100 w to 160 wat panel.
I have found that Amizon do have cheaper panels but they are the same quality as the more expensive ones add on other sites.
