The lost weekend Empty The lost weekend

We had booked this about 4 weeks ago at Dafarn Rhos Caravan And Camping Site on Anglesey. Now I am sure that generally this is a nice site, I did all my usual stuff in checking reviews from UKcampsite as I always do.

I expected it to be busy with it being a bank holiday etc and it was, the site looked promising and we were looking forward to a nice little break, how wrong we were. On arriving we were greeted by the most unhelpful, unpleasent member of any campsite staff I have ever come acroos in my 25 years of tenting, caravaning etc, I swear it took all of my self control not to hit the arrogant git.

We were escorted to our pitch and instructed which way to face our Dandy, I explained that we needed it turning to enable us to use the sun-canopy after an exchange of views and me pointing out on our booking that it actually states our canopy he relented along with the comment that he had come across my type before, well this was the final straw, I didn't even unhitch the unit drove back up to the office and demanded my fees back in full, after 45 minutes they conceded and refunded me making it clear I was not welcome back.

Unfortunately this meant we had to head home but as we were less than an hour from home it wasn't too bad.

Our next trip is to Caister, not far from Great Yarmouth admittedly courtesy of The Sun, but whilst we are there we are scouting out a few sites for next year, one in particular is Rose Farm in/near Beccles.
