Bloody angry birds
Was sat playing with my tablet, have to leave the dongle alone sometimes and thought i would down load this angry birds game to see what all the fuss is about, well i have never seen such a childish stupid pointless game in my life, only had time to get on the second level up to now may just go a little further perhaps i should go all the way to the end just out of pure investigative instinct you know.

I imagine angry birdrs on a tablet is fab.
My phone ran out of memory again!! so I uninstalled angry birds, I now waste less time on ponon! DLX, it is like tetris but with a difference.

Re: Bloody angry birds
I used to love '3D ultra pin ball' in the late 90's on my dad's computer. I don't know he it still exists.
If every time you played pinball you put some money in a pot, you would soon have enough to pay for the tablet, lol.
My phone is an android phone, what system is your tablet?
Other simple games i've played for ages is 'crazy bird' and 'frozen bubble' I think i'm easily pleased, lol.

Re: Bloody angry birds
lol, I reckon you will manage with only 25,000
My phone is running 2.1 and will never be updated, also the phone memory is something like 212mb. I'm not sure how familiar you are with the versions, but on 2.2, apps can run from the memory card, 2.1 they can't. So i'm stuck with a very limited number, I'm forever deleting and fiddling with it.

I may have the same problem to a lesser extent because mine is a updated 2.1 rather than the genuine 2.2 but i have 8 gb of memory built in and just added 16gb on a micro sd for photos ect.The new archos 10inch tablet due out soon has a 250gb HD built in.

Re: Bloody angry birds
250gb, blimey, i've not even a quarter of one.
Mine was updated to 2.1 last year, after 2.2 was launched. It's a shame about the memory because i'm otherwise very happy with the phone, when the warranty is out i'm going to look into rooting it. I will need lots of technical help there.

Doing that would be well beyond me will be interested to hear if you are succseful and what you do with your new found freedom, its like the ipad i was looking at the only way for it to be free of apple ties was to jailbreak it,i dont like manufactures deciding what they will allow me to do,read a piece where a user couldn't access channel fours beautiful bodies because it had been blocked like porn sites its a tv show hardly a problem.when i got my first dongle shooting sites where blocked all aspects of flicker was blocked realy good if you host your pictures there, any way it cost a pound taken of credit card and then refunded to prove i was over 18 to get the block removed.

Come next year I will let you know how I get on with the rooting, much research to do first.

Re: Bloody angry birds
I also use the android platform, I have an Orange San Francisco, which I have rooted,de-oranged and unlocked, also upgraded from 2.1 eclair to 2.2 froyo I use it on the 3 network now with the "all you can eat data" deal. Just removing all the Orange software initially made a huge difference in phone perfomance even before the upgrade to froyo.
We also have an android tablet for when we go away rather than take the decnet laptop with us.
This is the site I used for all my android upgrades;

Re: Bloody angry birds
Thanks for that link Keith, I will have a good read when i'm on the netbook. My small phone memory is full of stuff I can't delete. At least when I had my update to 2.1, it got rid of all those Vodafone apps I never used.
I can see me doing this or should that be trying to do this before my warranty is up.
