0800 buster and say no to 0870, very useful!!

After reading a post by Mike about ringing 0800 numbers from an expensive mobile, I though I would share these with everyone.

0800 Buster - you can call a free phone number from your mobile and it comes under your normal minutes or price plan minutes. Otherwise it can cost a small fortune.

The other is say no to 0870 - you enter any mobile expensive number, 0870, 0845 etc and the database hopefully gives an alternative normal number.

I never ever call any 08 number from my mobile, well how else do we pay for our campervan, lol.

Ive just started looking at those sites but as i say our tesco pay as you go treat 0800 as normal calls.

I remember you said that, that's a handy thing to have. Do you keep that phone on you in case you breakdown? Or does your breakdown company automately like mine, issue an alternative number to 0800 as well?

Good question it used to be our main spare phone,but now i have given Nancy my blackberry and i have the htc we thought it would just sit at home,have to look into that one,we have a second tesco pay as you go both of them are on an old tariff you cant get any more so we keep them ticking over.
