Rang virgin yesterday to cancel my dongle and mobile phone,unusually helpful both cancelled no problem and the guy sold me a sim only deal on a 30 day contract £5.99 a month not much actual credit just 50 min 50 texts 250mb Internet which is ok as its just a another phone on a different network for camping the main benefit is it also has the 3000 virgin to virgin min and Nancys daughter is on virgin so free chatting.

The internet wouldn't connect so rang back today and it just needed a reboot,what i found funny was the options when i rang virgin you know the press 1 for this 2 for that it was 6 that made me laugh press 6 if your phone isn't working

Bit of over kill maybe but we have 3 mobiles covering 4 networks,bet i still dont get a signal in Norfolk

We've got 4 networks too, it must be an addiction.

Today I can confirm that Molly is self healing. I've not driven her for two weeks due to lack of fuel, and today we filled her tank ready for our trip on Saturday, and her oil light now works, it's not worked since we bought her nearly 7 years ago.

She must have the dogs magic vibes, or has our luck turned

Lots to report but lots to catch up on as well.

Was going to post stuff but as well as no phone signal forgot the charger for the laptop, so WIFI in pub (only reason I went in honest) wasn't a lot of use.
Knackered, a bit ill and supposedly of to Goodwood Wed AM. May need a while to catch up.

Welcome home Kevin Sorry to hear your unwell but looking forward to reading all about your adventures.

Yesterday went from one end of the spectrum to the other in less than five minutes ........ son was told he had landed a dream job, double his current wage and he gets to travel abroad regularly. He wasn't looking for a job but someone he had dealt with through work asked him to come in for an interview and within two days has been offered the position.

Daughter telephoned just after I put the phone down to say hubby had just received a letter to say that 'we will keep you on file' and that was after two interviews so hopes were built up again.
Over three hundred applications and only a few even bother to reply.

I got a 3(three) 3GB preloaded dongle, I have 3 months to use up the allowance which I don't think I'll find hard. I can then top it up but as it cost less than the 3GB would normally cost from 3 I will probably just buy another if I'm happy with how it performs.

We would just like to say to Cazz and W for picking up a sink / cooker unit for us after we won it on fleabay and taking it to the Woodhall meet. We would also like to say to Eilis for then ferrying it back to us.

We hope to now soon start building a kitchen unit for our new Dandy 6 that we got a few weeks ago.

We only spotted it 1 hour before the auction ended. Absolute bargain.

Brilliant, it really was like swap shop though ........ sink unit carried across the field, two awnings carried across and taken to other dandy's and a couple of wheels ...... I think two more were given away too

I'm just having a quick visit to say I am still around and will catch up and return to normal very soon, perhaps I'll try on Friday. I've been busy last week, then we've been away for a few days in our new Dandy , we got back late afternoon today. And tomorrow at 7.30am I am checking in to my new accommodation, so that will be 3 different beds in 3 locations in 3 nights.

Arrived at Goodwood and the variable phone link for the computer is working. Well had to be re fired up three times.
This time last year 40% full at best on the campsite. This year 85/90% full.
Try to take plenty of pics this time and post daily.
Will help the insomniacs with sleep if nothing else.

It is lovely that people are all helping each other and getting things from one end of the country to the other when they get the chance to meet up

Would like to say thank you to a very special friend - thank you so much for what you did today - many would have walked away and I'm glad we share the same views....You are a star!

So.....I have spent the day rolling around on the floor either being a victim or treating a victim....Lets hope its not all in vain and I will pass the assessment tomorrow.
Doing the course has really opened my eyes how easy it is to actually save someones life or even just help them hang on long enough for the emergency service to arrive.
Definitely something everyone should think about I reckon....

Well, you've probably guessed that I'm now home, everything has gone according to plan, now when shall we go away again?

Baring Helen I imagine you have all wussed out of camping this weekend.
So what are you all doing then?
Admittedly the weekend starts here as a TV programme used to say at this time on Fridays and you might be doing something now that is more fun than tryping on here.
If however you can spare a minute or two do say what you have planned.
It seems awfully quiet I expect a hotbed of camping, buying or modding projects at this time of year.
Has the rain put everyone off everything?

Mr Itch, we would normally be away what ever the weather, but we've been invited to a Birthday party on Sunday. Playing in the soft play is optional though, I think I might pass on that.
