Can't see Glenbridge listed, but many whiskys are given odd names if private "cask" bottling.
Try [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] or any tasting notes by Michael Jackson for good guides on whisky.
40 year old whiskys can easily be old and woody but some are delightful. If you look on the Whisky Magazine listings you will at least see the Aldi option is a cheaper way to try an old whisky, by nearly £10,000 per bottle in one example.
Wine: if you like Rioja Asda have an offer on an own brand Reserva and "Campo Vieja" both at £5 and quite nice, but Morrisons have "Lagunilla" Reserva 2006 at £5. I believe this to be clearly superior and this will be gracing the Bourke Dandy over the Christmas period.
As well as the sloe gin also bought a bottle of Wisniowka the other day, but it's only 1/2 full at the moment and as I've had to take it out of the freezer to check the spelling so a nip was required now. Don't know how much will make Christmas?
Alcohol tip of the day good vodka and gin esp Dutch gin should be kept in the freezer. Only problem gin doesn't get as far as having tonic added because it ends up so good neat.
