Any advice re buying Leisure batteries?

Really the only time a battery would come into its own is if you have something like a Propex heater fitted which needs 12v as well as a gas supply. I'd love a Propex but we don't have one and I wouldn't buy a battery unless we did.

Regards the tap, we don't have a battery in ours, and when at car shows and steam rallies we don't have the option of electric, so we fitted a mechanical foot pump in ours. We've also fitted one in the camper as her switched tap didn't switch, on that we just opened the tap up and use the foot pump to control the water. I know they are not everyones cup of tea, but for us they are the perfect solution.
