Obsolete Products?

So, the other day, I was wondering what happened to some of the foods & games I used to enjoy as a child. Had I just become unaware of them now I had grown up or were they no longer available....?

I remember really enjoying Vanilla Coke & Lucky Charms but haven't had them for years! My family and I used to have competitions on a game called screwball scramble which was kind of a maze you needed to get a metal ball around from start to finish with obstacles on the way.....

Anyone else remember something really fondly from their childhood they havent seen for years?

Vanilla Coke still appears occasionally. Though as I'm not a great fan the last appearance could be any time in the last eight years.
Dab It Off: A glass bottle full of a magical fluid and a pad on the end when you opened the top. The dampened pad would remove almost all stains from almost anything. Alas the fluid was carbon tetrachloride and desperately carcinogenic.

I genuinely do miss my record player....the crackle as it started and the click of the arm.....my brother would argue he is glad I don't have one after I drove him crazy playing 'these boots are made for walking' over and over!!!

Oh my god! I wish we still had as much humour around, seems like companys are too concerned with being PC...can you imagine if there were 'Hedgehog' flavoured crisps now?! Although I'm a massive supporter of RSPCA and the like, they wouldn't see the funny side!!

Golden Wonder have recently been bought out by Tato (Irish crisp maker) Though Golden Wonder had lots of industrial unrest in the mid eighties the reason I always believed that Golden Wonder had virtually disappeared was:
1988 the year of the Piper Alpha Oil Platform disaster I was always led to believe the years largest insurance claim for the UK was the Golden Wonder crisp factory going up in flames.

(not golden wonder then) did you save a packet Mike??? but loved them anyway we used to finish eating them then put the empty packets into a low heated oven the packets used to shrink to a miniature packet then we made jewelry earrings etc
