Any one have experience of sewing one of the light weight caravan porch awnings seen one which the design would allow for a reduction in height to suit the dandy but wonder how it would be to sew.

I had to do quite a bit of sewing with the Royal Traveller, it was fine to sew on an ordinary machine but it was a bit awkward as your dealing with the bulk of the whole thing. Your probably thinking that it was just canvas but the whole roof is made of the same stuff as the lightweight caravan awnings and there was quite a bit of sewing done, we also have experience of lots of other types of awnings and I would say it would be fairly straight forward to decrease the height of a lightweight porch awning Very Happy
