Windows for Designer! Empty Windows for Designer!

Post by JamesMcQ Mon 06 Aug 2012, 11:11 pm

Just on the off chance...... my dandy is a 1994 and I believe the plastic double glazed windows were fitted from the following year (1995).

Does anyone know if the apperture size is the same?

I would like to replace the main window (over the kitchen) with a double glazed unit so if anyone has one in the shed.....!

Perhaps it happens to be the same size as a particular caravan window, which would be easier to locate?

Any info would help, thanks in advance...

Why would be my first question?
Ian at Riva would know and may even have the odd spare unit he could sell.
If he doesn't still sell them he may well tell you who made them.
Cazz numbers bought a 5 with a broken kitchen window. After first asking about a replacement she sorted one in short order after realising flat toughened or even laminated glass is available everywhere.
Now Perspex windows wont smash but I've seen a Dandy for sale with a chipped Perspex window.
    Insulating properties, buy thicker curtains.
Tinted to avoid heat or glare, buy film tinting.
