We had a few nice days but it all ended with that soggy feeling again, the car had the lovely aroma of wet dog all the way home. Sunday was glorious and we did think we had got away with the rotten weather that was forecast for Monday but spoke too soon and by the time we were packing away we had serious gusts of wind and lots of rain too ...... I don't think our Dandy has been packed away dry once since the Woodhall meet. We did intend to do a video of our Dandy on the Monday (no awning on) just the actual taking down and putting up as it doesn't take long but decided a quick getaway was more important at the time as we had waited and waited most of the day for things to calm down and wanted to get home before Emmerdale We did see an older brown Dandy, we have met the couple before over the years and it was nice to not have the only Dandy on site.

We actually had rather a good weekend. Thundery showers forecast for Saturday for our put up, but although we drove through some horrible weather on the way there, when we arrived we had some lovely sunshine Sunday was also dry & quite sunny, so we managed to have our compulsory BBQ Monday was wet as forecast, but only light rain and more showery than we were expecting so we had a very pleasant day wondering around Hereford and looking at the Mappa Mundi in the cathedral. Also bought some really lovely camping chairs in a Yeomans sale and I bought a new waterproof again for a very reasonable price.
It obviously rained quite a lot overnight, but this morning dawned dry and sunny and as we didn't have be off the site until 1:00pm we had a very leisurely breakfast and a completely dry takedown - result!
All in all a very enjoyable weekend and a lot better weather wise than I was expecting.

Wayne was working all three days, so we didn't go camping. We'll go when the kids are back in school and it's cheaper.

Slashed it down large parts of Sat and Sun but got to see a car show on Sun.
Ended up following a number of rally cars that were in Sundays show. We followed them for a while on Sat after we changed direction.......... My mate with the Transit flatbed discovered that some road signs that list a bridge as only 6' 6" inches wide actually mean that the bridge is only six foot six wide, s,c,r,a,p,,,,e!
We did have the newsun canopy though.
Suitable to shelter and barbecue under.
