Lidl bargains 3355420168 Not a bargain from Lidl but a money saving loo idea.
Another forum I use that is used by full timers or higher intensity users (full time traveling not full time or high intensity toilet use) are pretty much agreed not to use specialist fluids in the toilet tank.
Apparently they use either bio washing tablets or bio washing liquid. These substances have no negative effect on septic tanks (apparently even the "green" specialist fluid can kill septic tanks) keep odour at bay and are a damn sight cheaper than the specialist tank additives.

That's really good value, I've often wondered about that type though ..... how does it cope with chair and table legs ?

I like those, they're light to carry and provide a bit of shelter from the elements for your outdoor stuff in rain and for shade when it's sunny ..... may go get one for the poochie dog to lie under when it's hot ....... or is summer finished now we had a few days of sunshine Rolling Eyes

Convector heaters are superb if you are on EHU over the cold months. Warmer than an oil filled radiator and lighter too with none of the annoying noise of fan heaters.

So every time Aldi or Lidl have them on offer we feature them:

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Except no, I think this one is ceasing to be good value. Yes it has all sorts of bells and whistles like a remote control, an illuminated display showing the temperature setting and the room temp. No probably not in the cold faraway corner. Now some of the stuff is useful. It has three heat settings, it has a frost protection setting, a fifteen hour timer and a boosting fan, but then again the more features the more that can go wrong. For one pound more than the Lidl heater you could have two of these. I know which I would choose to heat a Dandy.  http://www.bmstores.co.uk/products/home-comforts-convector-heater-283400
Mind you it might help if the B&M description actually told you anything about the product.

    What would you buy?

Having covered some LED lights in Aldi the other week this week we look at rope lights at Lidl.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

As well as the warm white ones they are available in blue. However I think I would balk at using them other than on the dandy when on EHU. They use a whopping 163 watts so you are looking at something like 30 pence to run the lights per night if covering the hours of darkness.
They are about 10 metres  long though so would do the full front of an awning.

    Anyone camping this Christmas?
