Because of the condensation in the awning. would curtains made from shower curtains be the ideal type.
Ive just come back from a short break, and there was quite a lot of condensation in the awning. Thanks Pete Smile

Following a tip from Helen, I sewed together two single sheets and draped them over the roof bars which stopped the condensation dripping onto everything. I also got two shower curtains which worked very well

The bed sheet roof liner is well worth doing,it doesn't stop condensation but it holds it and you dont get any drips, out of season camping though often leads to damp curtains in the morning when packing away, so we always leave ours out and dry them when we get home.

Thanks for the replies i thought shower curtains might be the answer, but no problems if normal curtains are just damp when packing away.
Will look into sewing sheets together. Pete Smile

    Hi Pete
Condensation can be a problem (drips on the head while eating breakfast!)

Opening both doors (although cold!!) quickly cures it- I have had a look around campsites and caravan awnings also seem to have condensation on the windows- probably worse with PVC though.

Our Acrylic caravan awning had a lot of condensation a few weeks ago and yes it was dripping from roof bars and also the roof plus the curtains we're damp Shocked

It all comes down to the conditions in the end Rolling Eyes
