Just read on the UKCC forum that the Pennine Group have gone into Administration. Oh dear that's another FC company in trouble.

Just had a run round looking for this. Got a bit stuck as I'd not seen UK Campsite abbreviated to UKCC but I'm presuming you are referring to this [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
The Conway Owners Club also have a link to this, the Pennine Owners Club says nothing is very thin generally and is still advertising their winter meet which was held in a Premier Inn. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] So they have campers but need to meet in hotels???????

I'm sorry for anyone losing their job but they seem to have had very variable customer service with some swearing by them and some at them. Still what does customer service have to do with anything Glossop Caravans still manage to stay in business.

Now trading as Pennine Outdoor Leisure

A few questions about the politics of who is involved in the buyout but not enough for me to understand what is being inferred.

The first post on page 8 of that thread suggests some knowledge of the situation. It appears a little specific to be just made up but has gone right over the heads of the UKCS fraternity without any further query.

That is very funny  Laughing  ... appers they had to forego their usual 'disco' too  Crying or Very sad ... still I'm sure the piped muzak in the Premier Inn canteen will have been to their liking  Wink
