Back from a long weekend Empty Back from a long weekend

We've just got back from a long weekend away in Wales,  it was a bit chilly even though we only saw a bit of rain the wind cut through you and it did get blustery. It's the first time we've tried the porch awning and although not large by any stretch of the imagination we managed to fit two chairs and a table in there along with the coolbox and other bit & bobs so it gave us somewhere else to sit and ensured everything remained dry overnight.  It's also the first time we bothered to take the inverter which was amazing, we sat in with the underfloor heater on watching tv without being any where near an EHU and our tiny arial  managed to pull in more channels than even the caravan arial had on the same field! we had lots of comments asking how we had such a good reception when many of the vans were struggling  Laughing As usual the Dandy fascinated most people  Twisted Evil we didn't take many pictures but the baby animals were so cute I couldn't resist, I also couldn't resist the poor sheep with a bad hair do ...... someone should've gone to specsavers or stayed off the pop !!! affraid

Dinarth Hall in Colwyn Bay Kev, to be honest the site itself is lacking in facilities but the location is excellent as it's a stones throw from Llandudno and they had the extravaganza on so everywhere was fully booked but at Dinarth you can just pull on and pitch so long as you don't need EHU.

We sat for ages just watching the lambs playing Caz x

I've tried really hard not to take too much stuff but the little awning still ended up having 4 rolled up windbreaks on the floor, a spare gas bottle ..... just in case and a washing up bowl full of solar lights ...... non of which got used  Back from a long weekend 3208163979 two bags never even made it out of the car ...... one was full of clothes and the other had extra bedding and spare towels and an extra table never saw the light of day either. I still have to work on my downsizing  What a Face We didn't need the roofbox this time so that's an improvement  Laughing

We found some shopping baskets a few weeks ago in Llidl on sale for £1.99 each so bought 3 for in the boot of the car ...... we always forget to take bags when we go to Wales but found one comes in really handy for taking the pots to wash.
