After a visit a week or so ago I'm pleased to say the site is looking good, the facilities are still outdated but the camping field is well maintained.
The eggs at the site are a little expensive but the best we've tasted, this is a working farm so you will experience some farm activity from time to time and some tractor noise but the recompense is the outstanding views surrounding the site. Access to the site is good and the hot water and showers are free, the site can become a bit noisy at weekends if it's a bank holiday. The farm is also an equestrian centre so expect to see lots of horses in the adjoining fields, also cows, sheep, chickens and now they have two pigs. The chickens roam the site
