Cooker ignition not working

Hi, I bought my 1997 designer last year and used it alot with alot of enjoyment. The only small thing that bothers us is none of the igniters seem to work on the spinflo double burner and grill.
I had a look on our recent trip but could not see why it doesn't. Can anyone enlighten me if I am not turning it on right or if it is a common part that fails, it all functions as it should when out with a match.

Are you sure it has igniters? My current and previous Dandys didn't and I've never heard anyone else mention them.

We've got a 2004 and it doesn't have ignition. We too light it with a match

Our 2005 designer doesn't have them. We use a gas clicky lighter from the pound shop. They do a nice long one which reaches the grille easily. One beauty of the dandy is there is very little kit to go wrong.

Okay, that will explain it! Thank you. I will get a long reach gas lighter next time at the shops.
