Yes it is but mainly for the gas side as it only goes down to 20 below ambient but great for none hook up use.

agreed -20c is about the same as a electric cooler box,it would still be good for camping in this country for 95% of the year,it is a good buy though.I think our RC1600 is -30c below ambient but its only 33ltrs.

they look ok what do you do run it og gas in the awning ?? and at times on ehu ?

We paid 118 plus 12.00 for our 3 way fridge last week, it is the same size as the one on offer.

We have used it this weekend at Doe park, and it worked very well.

Yes i know why did i buy a three way and only go on hook up so i dont know about gas but they are supposed to work well on it.

I've used ours on gas and it performs just as well as it doe's when on electricity ...... you do have to make sure it's perfectly level or it fails to ignite.

Well at least you get -30⁰ cooling and unlike a coolbox it's silent.

£179 isn't an offer on a £200 item looked up on Google and two retailers offering sub £150 on the same item. Way to go abc5575 a much better price.

If your not running a TV and lots of electronic toys it removes the need to be tied to an EHU. So you can go further afield not be tied. Also as well as the saving on the EHU non or limited EHU sites can be cheaper.
You need a lot of days camping to recoup a £150 difference on the price of a cold box.

We've got a 3 way fridge, a blue one. It works equally as well on gas as it on electric - even to make ice cubes!!!!

We bought ours in 2003 or 2004, and touch wood - it's been perfect, so as a long term investment it's worked out ok.

Mr Itch, you be smug, your freezer was a fab find.
