Pleased you got an awning and hope it works well, the extra space is great and the fact that you can leave the door open on your dandy when its raining. bounce

Hi Kimmie, be great if you could put up some pics when you get round to using the awning, i'm still trying to find something light to use with my 4/5 but am toying with the idea of trying to use the dandy awning as i haven't seen anything that could work yet

    Eilis,
we had a lightweight driveaway awning on our dandy and it fitted well using a small awning rail above the door.We only sold it because we had 2 awnings and i dont think the original dandy awning is that hard to put up although others may disagree. My mate has a Kyham Driveaway awning on his VW and its similiar size/weight to the one we had but its a doddle to put up.The lightframe all folds out easily and the awning material is attached so no messing about with threading poles through tent etc.

See this its great but not cheap

last time we put up our awning it was like a demo video,it just worked out perfect,i think its because we just took our time got everything organised and that was it.I don't think it would have worked as well had it been wet and windy, just as well that stayed off till the following morning oh then the morning after that then as if by magic it was glorious the following day when we had to pack up,i am not bitter about the weather honestly. lol!
