I have contacted Lakeside with view to us going there from the 23rd March for however long you would like. Val(The Warden) emailed back asking if we were rowdy types as they advertise Peace and Tranquility. I assured that you all were but could not guarantee my behaviour.......

We have been known to have trouble with Helen, but to be serious is understandable when sites dont know what they are getting,at trentfield we where sited at the very bottom of the rally field because they didn't know us but we proved our selfs as respectable including Helen

So we wont have to apologise for the noise, only everyone's cars not starting after the fuel lines get chewed through!

Don't think we can make it after all guys I'd forgotten that Nigel's leave year starts in April so by the end of March he won't have any leave days left (especially with the event we attend every year in February which eats up 4 days) so he couldnt have the Friday/Monday off and it wouldn't be worthwhile coming for under two nights with the distance involved.

So it looks as if we'll have to wait until later in the year to catch up with you guys again, which is a shame! Helen we are still by interested in your awning if you can hang on to it for a little longer for us, if you want to sell it earlier just PM me with your address and I'll send you a cheque and then we can pick it up off you later in the year!

Shame,never mind there will be others,we are in the same position with holidays but are hoping we can get PG (permission granted) days without pay,the trouble is we cant ask too far in advance.

It's okay Jayne we can sort it out when you can get to a meet.

At Johns place you can start to book days off as soon as you return after Christmas, the problem is that if we wait too long everyone else in his department has already booked it. Two years ago we couldn't get a full week away because of people pre-booking odd days months in advance.

This is the reply I received from Val at Lakeside. Is this OK for everyone? Please note the ampage. I would like to suggest March the 23rd as the first date and then campers can decide the length of their stay from that.

Thankyou for your email, we do have six pitches together in the laurels. the ground is very hard, the electric hookup is 6amp paid for by cards you purchase from reception so you only pay for what you use.Please contact me if you would like to book either by email or phone on 01759 318100.

Well i would like to come if i can get my manager in the right mood next week i will try for forward permission to have a couple of pg days.

Wouldn't take the awning but use the utility tent i guess they may treat that as a porch awning but £15 a night plus whatever electric you use looks good to me.

Hi Terry, was so excited I missed the most important bit

I have just gone onto the website and booked for myself and John I did ask for the Laurels and explained that we are with your group (Terry Baynham) we will be staying for 2 nights.

We have the ok for the Friday off so will book Friday and Saturday night
