hello everyone

hi -newbie here-- ive had a dandy for about a year its a 1982 brown one , well due to moving to a new place i never got to go out in it
well i have now-- ive just returned from a 2 day stay in portland /weymouth, all i can say is, the dandy was brilliant the wind was a-blowin- but it was warm and cosy inside! cooked some food too
hope to talk with you folks about various things--ohh btw i tow my dandy in mt citreon 2cv

Hi Andy This year hasn't been a very good one for most campers but Dandy's stand up so well with bad weather conditions

Now you've experienced the benefits of Dandy v canvas tenting, bet you can't wait to get back out there. You can't beat a good blow and some rain to emphasise the good points of Dandying in the average British summer. After all, anyone can camp in glorious sunshine.

What Dandy have you got? Interesting to hear you tow it with a little car!

hi , its a brown one ,made in 1982, when i bought it last year it hadn,t been used for a long time
i erected it and found that it had all the pots and pans /cutlery-even a full bottle of gas&2 spare wheels the dandy has been well maintained too theres some loose screws here&there but thats no problem i can do any jobs on it myself
i tow it in my 2cv it struggles a bit up hill tho!
i just leave the car in 3rd gear mostly
i,ll post some pics soon when i find out how

Well obviously the bicycle is the star, but look in at around about 33 seconds or so and it is to be seen that this man owns a Dandy also.
We need a Dandy equivalent to the Blue Peter Badge and one wants sending to Mr Hudspith immediately if not sooner.

thanks folks, jeff has just come back from europe he covered over 2500 miles in his citreon van, he exibits the bike and the steam gramaphone at different rallys there
