Welcome to the forum and welcome to camping too. You've made a great choice with a Dandy they are the best thing that you can camp in.

as for advice ........ put it on the front lawn and hide it with a green cover in the hope she won't notice lol!

Have a look at the threads here Colin, they show all the types of Dandy's and include measurements. There is also a thread telling you what to look out for when buying a Dandy.

Lets hope the Mrs falls in love with your very own Dandy and can't bear for it to be in storage. Very Happy

New member 936075699 New member 1066248140 To both yourself and to Mrs Colorde. You're not going to regret a venture into plastic. It's fantstic! Meanwhile have a good read of the forum and pick up as much as you can. Don't hesitate to ask questions. We all like to expound our knowledge. (not that you'll necessarily get the answers you want or even the same answers!) Somewhere there will be the right Dandy for you both. They're a bit like puppies, in that you develop a liking and they become a member of your family. Who knows, your good lady might develop separation issues and want it kept at home where it can be patted and stroked on a daily basis. Good hunting.

    Hi Colin and welcome.
I have just recently joined the forum, they have loads of great info, and are very friendly.

We have just bought a 1991 Dandy Designer who we have called Desmond.

We haven't been out in him yet, as we were waiting for his new wheels to arrive, and they have just arrived 15 mins ago. Looking forward to going out in him.

What model are you going to get? You are not far from us, we are on Tyneside. New member 1217042266
