As for towing, don't panic and don't let people fluster you. Pretend you are driving a lorry. As long as its hitched properly it will just follow you. Just take the bends a little bit wider. Smile

Big late posting on this one, but it looks fantastic. Always loved the 6's, and curious is the side all wood covered in PVC or just the door frame like on the smaller ones?

The side walls are pvc exterior on a metal frame with wood wall board on the inside

    Thanks Mike,

Was curious, a solid wood side would have to weight to it I guess!

yep the trailer is allot larger than the 4/5 and the sides are heavy ...but easier to lift as they have two gas struts on each side which makes life easier lifting and lowering now that mine are working my 70's dandy 6 revamp 3462454224 my 70's dandy 6 revamp 3462454224

We went there a few years ago now and it is just across the road from the beach, it's a great place to take the kids ...... have a lovely time. We stay in Colwyn bay which is just 8 miles away ...... if your in that area again and it's over a weekend let us know and we can pop across to say hello or visa versa my 70's dandy 6 revamp 184121345

Hope that you have a lovely time in Wales, we also loved 'Brummel' who was our Dandy 6.

Just a thought, don't forget to take the paint of your back lights and triangles.
