The bit in between Empty The bit in between

Post by Helen Thu 27 Dec 2012, 3:28 pm

We've reached the bit in between Christmas and New Year, it's nice to relax but we'd like to get away for a few days and due to the adverse weather conditions don't think it would be sensible. So now we're sat eating chocolate and watching films Rolling Eyes

    And we are bored!

What doe's everyone else do during the bit in between ?

I made a mistake with that film i wanted to see it but friends who had seen it said a lot of the action is in the dark, now that annoys me with films so i bought it in 2D,after watching it its not that dark so wish i had bought 3D.
Men in black was a pleasant surprise although not made in 3D but converted after it was very good 3D.

I felt let down with Prometheus, the beginning of the film promised so much it just didn't deliver even in 3D. Rolling Eyes

Have been doing a little shopping in Birmingham yesterday, going to visit friends in Derby this afternoon. Other than that watching films, eating and playing games.

    The bit in-between,

One year on boxing day we started putting up stud work for home alterations.

Another year we were cladding our new garage.

Last year we were meeting new friends in a field near Peterborough. Laughing

We've had a look at the sales, didn't buy much and have decided that every time we go outside it's either wet, windy or freezing so we're staying snuggled up on the sofa in our pj's stuffing our faces ....... it's all got to be eaten before New Year ready for the New Years diet lol!

Just seems a bit of a waste of time off, we were hoping to get away but due to the weather we'd be going just to sit inside watching tv and eating chocolate. Shocked

We were enjoying it. Things have now changed!!

I have had an old vintage car stored in an old shed on land at the back of my parents for about 30 years. Had a phone call today, the shed has collapsed. The bit in between 9639063 The bit in between 9639063

Can only see a bit of it at the moment, so don't know if it has suffered any major damage. It wasn't in brilliant order before, but was complete. Well except for its floor. The bit in between 3462454224 The bit in between 3462454224

    Well done Jake.

The one in your picture I think is a ZA which had a smaller back window, the short trim on the wing. The one we have is a ZB which has the full length trim although it has been removed and stored. It also has the larger back window. It has been painted at some time, not very well so we are not sure yet whether it was originally all one colour or the varitone model.
