    Hello Dandy Forum,

Thought my partner (Amy) and I (Simon) would say hello, as we have been a member for quite some time, looking for sales of a Dandy Trailer Tent! It wasn't until about 3 weeks ago we spotted a Dandy Designer on eBay and almost instantly we bid on it, and to our joy we were the only bidders! The Dandy was in Scunthorpe, and as we are from Scotland, we organised to pick it up the weekend after the auction ended! On the Saturday we got our towbar fitted (double electrics as you don't know what to expect in the future), then we were ready to leave the next morning. When we arrived we were greeted by Micheal and his wife (dont know if they are previous or current members on here?!) who had the dandy set up ready for viewing! We instantly fell in love! We got sooo much extras with it too as they were giving up camping. We were given an electric heater, kettle, gas kettle, gas bottle, two EHU's, toilet, toilet tent, fresh and waste water containers, air bed with electric pump, two small fold away tables, mini Hoover, fridge, two spare tyres, dandy sun canopy, spare front and back panels, wind breakers, camping chair, and a bag full of dandy spare parts (hinges, locks etc etc)! All for £700! Bargain!! Hello Dandy Forum! 184121345

When it was home we gave it a good clean, cleaned the pvc and trailer cover, and cleaned out the inside. Naturally we had to give it a test run, albeit outside the back of my partners house, but it was to get a feel of things and we love it! We cant wait to use it properly, our first outing is at the end of the month, and we can't wait!!

Welcome to you both. That does sound a bargain you got there, especially with all that useful kit. A while back you would have easily paid double.

We have a Designer and love it. We had a fixed bed caravan, but I have to say I prefer sitting in the dandy. I find it more comfortable and a very pleasant space to sit and sleep. Towing is an absolute joy by comparison.

So far we have found the space to be very enjoyable too!

Yeah the weather is great! We thought due to that and the time of the year we would have paid a premium on the camper, but I think we got lucky!

Since the purchase the Dandy grin hasn't went away Very Happy
It still amazes us how all that can pop out of a 6ft x 6ft trailer, and how quickly and easily it takes to put up and down!!
