Hi all,

I havent had chance to post for a while, had so much going on and dandy being far from the front of my mind as we still have a towbar on the new car.

Anyway we have a new addition to our Dandy family.

Meet Lilly.

SHE IS GEORGOUS oh proud parents and can't wait for her Dandy fun

  not been well and to just say me and PRAWNS  have had a set too and the PRAWNS won big time   But that is not what I got upset about and sent me heading to the cake counter oh yea who told her not to serve me for my own good   and being her best customer over the years think the pitiful crying and pleading got to her oh ok the whining clinched the deal   no not the prawns but the fact I put weight on    I died !!!! didn't eat for days  skin and bone went for the weight in   how much   but i've been ILL!! your scales are broke my protests fell on deaf ears with the we know what you've been eating look    ..... but to be honest I hadn't at the time it was the next day I stomped to the cake shop and stuffed my face        

forgot to say three days to go and get my new baby     

Me and my friend stopped going to slimming clubs Caz, we found that if we'd lost weight we then went to the pub and celebrated then had chippy on the way home and if we hadn't lost we still went to the pub to commiserate and then stuffed ourselves comfort eating so no matter which of us had lost and which had put on we still both ended up eating more than we would've if we'd not gone to the club  

I'm going nuts trying to find Elsa and Anna dolls from the film frozen ..... Evie will be 4 next week and that's what she wants. Trouble is they've sold out everywhere and people are now flogging them on fleabay for a lot more than they were in the shops and some of those still have waiting times of up to 2 weeks, new stock will be in the shops but not until 3 weeks after her birthday

Thanks Caz, the nearest that have them in is Chesterfield which is almost a 100 mile round trip ....... we did manage to get an Anna musical magic and the Elsa to match will be in on the 6th of June so we'll get her that one then, for now she'll be happy enough with Anna oh and we also got her a Merida who she also loves.   

 what lengths we go to ....to make them happy  100 miles    we get everything delivered here as 30 miles takes an hour to drive on a clear road but now the tractors are about I take a picnic as it could take a while     

 the day came when I had to say GOODBYE  the Mondeo had to go     

off I went in her when not a nice noise came from underneath and could not go on any more but the question I would like to ask is " which one of you gods did I upset or were you just having a laugh at my expense !!" that's it no cake offering for you   

there I am in the middle of nowhere haven't got a clue ok think I passed Machynlleth but how long ago    which turning was it I took and was it the right one    not in a good position on a bend    ok get a grip phone for help and get out of the car with four ways flashing.. got out to use the phone    Wales may be beautiful but crap with signal  walked for miles tried to flag a few passing cars    to find out where I was but just like to say the human race can be Ignorant  hope they felt guilty when they got to my car and realized I needed help not just walking for the goodness of my health  
Finally got a signal and phoned my breakdown service      I was near on tears they were so helpful : " where are you "  I don't know  " ok where did you come from ? and where were you going ?what time did you leave ?"  we will find you go back to your car and wait "  this was early in the morning and they found me late afternoon    I did sit in the car thought  I would be safer than standing on the road being a country road than a motorway  apparently I did take a wrong turn there was three roads they could choose and found me on the least expected route         he gave me a hot cup of tea from his flask and put my car on the back of the huge tow truck and brought me back home
NOTE TO SELF : stay on right road !! be more alert to the places I pass oh yep now I know as my son told me that my phone has a GPS system on it  so must learn to use it   

I went to my mechanic and faced a huge bill so I asked as MOT is due as well should I continue or cut my loses  yep he gave me advice to cut and run best to look for another with his advice ringing in my ears on what is best to get and what to avoid Ford up 10 yrs old don't touch ( Mondeo was 14yrs old) so off I went looking around    BLUE     ok get a grip follow your head not heart but its  BLUE then the man forced me to have a test drive            and did I say it's BLUE ( i'd just like to say my long suffering friend was away he is the common sense ) BUT it's BLUE the rest was grey to be honest didn't really look at the others   
so now I am the proud owner of one like this

and it has a target finder on the front      booked in to have the tow bar fitted next week she it 10yrs old but IT"S BLUE only 70,000 on the clock and the cheapest car on the lot   
showed up at the garage to book her in never seen a cuppa tea explode so much when my mechanic saw her  think that was a good shock not bad one he was choking so much I will take her back next week
picking the green dandy up tomorrow using my friends car     

see never should be left out on my own

It's Blue I   it   

Following our car woe's we decided that we'd put too much money into the car to scrap it ....... so we spent a bit more on it   and it's running great now. We did pick ourselves up a lovely little run around that'll take the strain off the old car and costs a lot less to run.

This is Tallulah, I did want a blue one but she screamed at me to take her home with us and we used to have a red car that was very reliable. We've had her just over a month and it costs half what it used to cost for John to get to work and back, we still have old faithful for towing the Dandy

Phoenix think forgot to tell you IT'S BLUE          

  thats a nice car Helen think we are doing well with cars at the moment    I will find out tomorrow how she does on a long run but I don't care coz  she is BLUE    

Didn't someone tell me blue and green should never be seen without another colour in between.

What are you going to tow the green dandies with now. But hang on, didn't you buy a blue one a while back?

  yep I have two blue ones two brown ones and now a green    got her last night but could not tow her with my girl as tow bar goes on next week   

see I will have to galm the girls up to go with the Mercedes oh did I tell you she 's BLUE      

You could start a 'rent a Dandy' small business now Caz   You really really need an orange one now and then perhaps make sure you have all the models they made  

photo's will be posted soon but had a peep her roof poles are hinged on the bed not by the door     looking for a woodland to buy then can have a dandy fairy land      but you are quite right a orange one would look great   

just looked at the original photo's and what I saw don't make sense   so investigation is needed    or new glasses   

  made a grown up decision today  .. have decided not to go abroad this year was going to spain for the Vuelta  but too much going on and will be at this for years if I don't knuckle down now will be Dandy ing around UK but must finish the decorating of the house as all rooms are half done as I do get distracted easily   I have now decided to rip my kitchen apart     and rebuild my own   and will be rebuilding Miss Molly , Betty will be lovingly restored , think Desdemona needs a overhaul and Daisy will be at my sisters being loved    One missing you say well she has a different destiny also with fingers crossed my son will be in college starting Sept    plus must knuckle down to my OU course but NEXT year is my reward because if I don't do and finish what I have planned there is no fun next year    yep family and friends have got me locked into a pacted  me and my big mouth

We did but that was in the early days, then I went onto adorning the Dandy with fairy lights instead   I suppose we could take both again, we stopped with the flag pole when we started taking a tv ariel on a pole and our flag go stuck on the ariel, we now have a small magnetic ariel.

I will hunt out your address I should still have it somewhere providing you haven't moved. I need someone to take the dandycampers flag as we won't be out in our dandy anymore

It's been a busy time for us as our daughters wedding took place yesterday and the sun shone
