Hello from Gateshead

Hi All.

Happy to say we have just come back from our 1st night away in Dolly our 1995 designer.
Bought her from fellow member ( Mark ) at beginning of the month and really pleased.
Also thanks to Peridot and Tow Itch for advice given. Had been bit lost buying 1st dandy but she already feels part of the family. Have her in storage locally as no space at home and son said he missed her tonight.

Went up the coast to Proctor Steads near Craster in Northumberland and had great weekend. Got bit cooler overnight but had bought oil filled radiator ( 1kw) which kept us toasty all night. Was up pretty early but guess that's what you get for letting 2 boys ( 4 and 2) share bed together for 1st time.

Planning to sort out 12 volt electrics over winter in case we don't have hook up next year and have eyed up movelite xl awning locally that we hopefully will get hold of this week.

Will try and post some pictures.

Hopefully may bump into some other members on trips out next year.

It's always a relief to see a sale has gone well and everyone is happy.

I thought that you already had 12V fitted. What is the sorting out? This is a thread started by Mark early this year. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

This thread started by jh asking about 12V Transformers ended up with me ruminating about 12V options in general. It may be of use.
